Connect what a seizure looks like with its possible epilepsy type, the investigations that support it, and the medicines that fit.

A learning tool for fictional examples, not a diagnostic test. Clues generate possibilities, not probabilities. Normal EEG or MRI does not exclude epilepsy. No flashing stimuli or seizure-provoking exercises are used.

What happens during the episodes?
Select a combination of clues. Use the age when seizures began, not the current age. Leave age blank if unknown.
Evidence and clinical notes
Educational synthesis checked 16 October 2026. ILAE syndrome resources inform the pattern descriptions. NICE is used as an international treatment reference, not as Australian prescribing law. Confirm current Australian product information, age indications and PBS eligibility.
Symptoms can reflect propagation rather than onset. MRI identifies possible causes; an EEG pattern needs clinical context. Sleep deprivation, flashing light and hyperventilation must not be self-used to provoke seizures. No entered clues or game scores are saved; refresh starts a new session.
